- To shoot forward; to shoot out; to project; to jut; to intrude. Shak.
- To strut; to throw or toss the body in haughtiness. Shak.
- To jerk; to jolt; to be shaken. Wiseman. [This orthography is rarely used. See Jut.] Jet d'eau- zhedo. [Fr. a throw of water.] A spout for delivering water.
