YERK, v.t. [This seems to be the Heb. and Ch. {foreign}, Eth. {foreign} waraka, to spit, that is, to thrust out. It is the same as jerk. Class Rg, No. 35.]
To throw or thrust with a sudden smart spring; as, horse yerk their heels. Far. Dict.
