EF-FU'SION, n. [effu'zhon.]
- The act of pouring out as a liquid.
- The act of pouring out; a shedding or spilling; waste; as, the effusion of blood.

- The act of pouring out or bestowing divine influence; as, the effusions of the Holy Spirit; effusions of grace.
