MOS'CHA-TEL, n. [from Gr. μοσχος, L. muscus, musk.]
A plant of the genus Adoxa, hollow root or inglorious. There is one species only, whose leaves and flowers smell like musk; and hence it is sometimes called musk-crowfoot. Encyc.
