CRY-OPH'O-RUSCRYP'TIC, or CRYP'TIC-AL
CRYPT, n. [Gr. κρυπτω, to hide.]
A subterranean cell or cave, especially under a church for the interment of persons; also, a subterranean chapel, or oratory, and the grave of a martyr.
