SMOK-Y, a.
- Emitting smoke; fumid; as, smoky fires. – Dryden.
- Having the appearance or nature of smoke; as, a smoky fog. – Harvey.
- Filled with smoke, or with a vapor resembling it; thick. New England in autumn frequently has a smoky atmosphere.
