Definition for U'NI-CORN
U'NI-CORN, n. [L. unicornis; unus, one, and cornu, horn.]
- An animal with one horn; the monoceros. This name often applied to the rhinoceros.
- The sea unicorn, called narwal, is of the whale kind, and is remarkable for a horn growing out at his nose. Cyc.
- A fowl. Grew. Fossil unicorn, or fossil unicorn's horn, a substance used in medicine, a terrene crustaceous spar. Cyc.
