DRAW'BACK, n.
- Money or an amount paid back. Usually, a certain amount of duties or customs, paid or bonded by an importer, paid back or remitted to him on the exportation of the goods; or a certain amount of excise paid back or allowed on the exportation of home manufactures.
- In a popular sense, any loss of advantage, or deduction from profit.
