IM-PRAC'TI-CA-BLE, a. [in and practible; Fr. impracticable. See Practice.]
- That can not be done or performed; infeasible; not to be effected by human means, or by the means proposed. It is impracticable for a man to lift a tun by his unassisted strength; but not impracticable for a man aided by a mechanical power.
- Untractable; unmanageable; stubborn; as a fierce, impracticable nature. Rowe.
- That can not be passed or traveled; as, an impracticable road; a colloquial sense.
