FULL'NESS, n. [from full.]
- The state of being filled, so as to leave no part vacant.
- The state of abounding or being in great plenty; abundance.
- Completeness; the state of a thing in which nothing is wanted; perfection. In thy presence is fullness of joy. Ps. xvi.
- Repletion; satiety; as from intemperance. Taylor
- Repletion of vessels; as, fullness of blood.
- Plenty; wealth; affluence. Shak.
- Struggling perturbation; swelling; as, the fullness of the heart.
- Largeness; extent. There wanted the fullness of a plot, and variety of characters to form it as it ought. Dryden.
- Loudness; force of sound, such as fills the ear. Pope.
