TAT'TLE, v.i. [D. tateren; It. tattamellare.]
- To prate; to talk idly; to use many words with little meaning. Excuse it by the tattling quality of age, which is always narrative. Dryden.
- To tell tales; to communicate secrets; as, a tattling girl.
