RO-GA'TION, n. [Fr. from L. rogatio; rogo, to ask.]
- Litany; supplication. He perfecteth the rogations or litanies before in use. – Hooker.
- In Ronan jurisprudence, the demand by the consuls or tribunes, of a law to be passed by the people.
