Definition for CRUSE
CRUSE, n. [D. kroes. See Crucible.]
A small cup. Take with thee a cruse of honey. 1 Kings xiv. In New England, it is used chiefly or wholly for a small bottle or vial for vinegar, called a vinegar-cruse.
