PEL'LET, n. [Fr. pelote; W. pellen, from L. pila, a ball; It. palla.]
- A little ball; as, a pellet of wax or lint. – Bacon. Wiseman.
- A bullet; a ball for fire-arms. [Not now used.] – Bacon. Ray.
