RO-TUND', a. [L. rotundus, probably formed on rota, a wheel, as jocundus on jocus.]

  1. Round; circular; spherical. Addison.
  2. In botany, circumscribed by one unbroken curve, or without angles; as, a rotund leaf. Linnæus.
